Ceramic vs wax
Two finishes. Different prep, different life. Ask what is on their menu.

Wax is the faster shine. A quality wax can make paint pop for weeks, then it fades and you book again. It is a good fit for weekend cars and South Florida sun if you stay on a regular cadence.
Ceramic coating is a longer commitment. The detailer decontaminates and often polishes first, then lays a coating that bonds to the clear coat. It costs more and takes more time because the prep is the job.
Neither one is a promo on this site. Each operator sets their own menu. Some offer a spray sealant that sits between wax and a true coating. Read the profile. If the listing does not say ceramic, do not assume it.
Ask in the booking thread how they want the car prepped, whether the car needs to stay dry, and how they maintain the finish. Miami rain and salt air are hard on both — maintenance still matters.
